Ian Whittley is a prolific popular painter in Morayshire. He Exhibits mostly with Still Life Gallery and has sold well over 300 paintings in the last decade so that makes him the gallery’s best selling artist. He mostly paints familiar local scenes in oil and acrylic. His more realistic style of the past is fading as he gradually embraces a much brighter dramatic palette. A retired distillery worker and originally from Northern Ireland Ian has been a resident in the North East of Scotland for over 40 years and often comes out with well pronounced Gaelic when he gives us titles of his paintings. He is available for commissions too and is very versatile.
