Jonathan's journey continues with the launch of a stunning new watercolour of the oldest distillery in Dufftown - Mortlach Distillery.

The exhibition runs in the main gallery until 11th May and then on permanent show in the wee gallery

In this exhibition, "The Colour of Whisky", Jonathan captures the architecture and settings of several of the whisky distilleries that so characterise this beautiful area of Scotland.

For several years Jonathan has made a full-time profession of his very vivid style of art, constantly finding new ways to express his passion for the beauty of the Highlands and its architectural heritage through his chosen medium of watercolour.

Jonathan was born in Lancashire and today lives in the Highlands having built an eco-house at Findhorn in Moray.

He studied Physics at Oxford and worked for twenty years as a management consultant in industry. A musician since his childhood, with a classical background, he now enjoys playing saxophone and has recorded two CDs.

Jonathan exhibits his work in galleries around Scotland and his work has travelled internationally, including to USA, Canada, Australia and Brazil.
