Formerly the tack room for the farm, comfortable accommodation is provided for two adults. The double bedroom has a zip and link bed, which can either be used as twin beds or a King size double.

The compact kitchen is well equipped and there is a modern shower room. The living room with tv, dvd, stereo and shelves stocked with a fine selection of books, cds and films connects to an outside patio area with a dining and seating area, barbecue and spectacular views. Central heating, fresh linen and towels, wireless internet, bike hire and free range hen and duck eggs are all included. There is a washing machine, freezer and drying area beside the cottage. Table tennis, table football and darts are also available.

The pace of life here is what you want it to be. You can either relax, unwind and breathe in the fresh Highland air or you can partake in the many activities the area has to offer. Fly fishing can be arranged on the River Spey. There are golf courses at Rothes and Ballindalloch, historic castles nearby, wildlife spotting including the Moray Firth Dolphins, superb walks on the Speyside Way and challenging mountain bike trails. We are also right in the heart of the whisky trail so you can discover and enjoy Scotland's most famous export. Glenfiddich, Macallan, Cardhu and the Speyside Cooperage are all approximately 10 minutes drive. Aberlour is the nearest main town and is another easy 10 minute drive or delightful 30 minute walk

It has a selection of Interesting shops including a well stocked deli, a supermarket, gallery, Scottish gift shops, restaurants, pubs and of course the famous Walker's Shortbread factory shop where you can pick up a range of products not seen elsewhere.

A 30 minute drive north takes you to the golden beaches at Lossiemouth, while a similar drive south takes you towards Aviemore and the heart of the Grampians. The Findhorn Foundation is just a scenic 45 minute drive. Aberdeen and Inverness are both just over an hour.

You can also explore the local countryside and Ordnance Survey maps are in the cottage so that you can plan your route.

Art Workshops can be arranged for groups while private art and framing lessons can be tailored to suit individual ability.
